ISOLATED INTERACTIVITY

When considering a co-working and co-living space, one is bound to be met with interactions of people with each other and with space. They are also in need of isolation. Such spaces are expected to offer these experiences. This project, located across the coast of Maameltein, Jounieh, aims to create a variety of different possible interactions and experiences with open and hidden spaces, playing with the composition of extroverted and introverted spaces and what comes in between. This is done using a matrix of interactions, whether physical or visual, ranging between complete separation and complete unity. The functions are separated by in between pathways allowing for protruding spaces to favor contact. Through such relationships and in addition to using openings and different levels, the project attempts to enhance and diversify the possibilities of different interactions in general, even within isolated spaces.
