In the face of the current economic crisis, it is evident that the production of a local gin, with the great know-how acquired in this field, would compete against imported gin brands. The Distillery sits on a corner plot of the main Armenia street and facing the old train station, now serving as a space to host cultural events. The program revolves around the 40 plates of the columns stills reaching a height of 12 meters, impacting both the architecture and the site. The workshop space, boutique, restaurant and bar are located above ground, all working around the columns which become part of these spaces. A planted platform a the ground level extends the activity of the street, introducing the visitors to the juniper fruit, before taking the stairs down to the root, where the production happens.
