Located at the costal line of Beirut, Lebanon is a living example of all disintegrated realities in a residential dense neighborhood. The future generation of Ouzai is under threat. Through my research, the children living in Ouzai are not receiving the appropriate education a child needs to be able to build a successful future. Instead, there is an increase in child labor and child marriage. My deep analysis of Ouzai market stretch has led to the development of my project to support the future generation and encourage children to seek education through interactive learning.
The project is divided on 2 plots where one serves as an exhibition together with a nursery for the young children (below 10 years old). The other plot serves as the experimental school for the older children (10-17 years old). The Ouzai market connects the 2 plots together by extending the shops into the project and being part of the project’s program.
