The project is a recycling fabric factory with an adjacent residential part. All production is based on recycled and donated items. The concept involves a continuous working space, with its adjacent function supporting it. A vertical continuous void through the project allows items to be lifted from the basement to the last level of production. Each level involves a step of the process of production as it makes it way up vertically. The units are scattered around the main production space which is the sewing area, creating an internal private circulation for the workers. The structure is based on a truss system enhanced with columns, which are hidden on the facade where the production takes place and shown where other functions occur. In the interior the structure is exposed and is part of the production experience. The used exposed materials allow transparency between the project, its workers and visitors.
