As Lebanon is currently going through a historical phase aiming to implement changes in all parts of the governmental system, citizens need a place where they could voice out their ideas and opinions. But as the capital Beirut is known to be overpopulated and dense with a very small number of parks and outdoor areas – giving a feeling of impenetrability, the footprint of the project is therefore reduced in order to keep as much open space as possible, by intervening only on the existing bridge.
