The pursuit of this analysis was to tackle the undisclosed security areas within Beirut city from the public to operate, and instead repulse them through a mayhem of arbitrary and intimidating security measures. Consequently, this urban intervention aims to rethink the security system from its core into a discrete, yet effective tactical approach in hopes of revitalizing the withering communal areas of Beirut, as what has been witnessed throughout the 2019 Revolution and the reclamation of the Lebanese people of their righteous property. As for the plot intervention, it aims to revive the underlying Roman archaeological fabric by overlaying a new grid that allows the explorer to appreciate the harmony of the interwoven grids and activate this neglected public treasure as a primary step for resurrecting Beirut.
