| was visiting the project’s site, sat on a rock towards the cliff with my feet dangling towards the beach, and thought of how, when people are at sea, or next to it, one finds themselves relaxing, slowly forgetting all their stress. One after the other, all boundaries surrounding us fade away…
Hearing the soothing sound of the wind, the waves, and their impact on the pebbly shore, one transcends into a state of balance, almost defying gravity. A feeling of suspension, away from our problems, in which we find ourselves in a fragile equilibrium, within a sea of peace. This can be compared to the city of Jbeil, which has seen numerous civilization pass through it, encouraging it to evolve with each era of its time.
