CO-LIVING

As the new trends are setting the type of dwelling we are more and more seeking for, students of INAR DES VI were challenged to conceive a CO-LIVING space in an abandoned existing building in Beirut Bashoura district. The project had both socio-geopolitical impact and architectural challenges. The building has 5 to 6 floors and offers two facades to the road and several internal facades to an inner central courtyard. Those internal facade are the core to their intervention and interaction with the exterior, whereas the 2 facades to the road had to be totally preserved.

As for the interior space, based on each concept, vertical communication and circulation where to be entirely remodeled and reflect the identity to the co-living direction and mood they were setting.
