This project addresses the role of the building in the past and its contemporary potential as a public node. As the situation in the country has reduced the opportunities of the people to express their individualities in productive ways, this intervention aims to create a high level of interaction, participation and dynamism, resulting in movement, self-expression, and release of energy. By turning the building into a cultural hub, it is transformed it into a space where the youth can express their heritage not only to their own people but also to any other person visiting the city. As such, the building is turned into a cultural hub for youth to practice several activities and spread their expressions into the cosmopolitan city of Beirut.
