SPACE OF DIALOGUE

rawan mansour

In a post Covid-19 future, the site, the demolished St. Vincent de Paul Church located in Downtown-Beirut, is transformed into a space of dialogue and freedom of speech, where performances and workshops will revive the energy that was lost during the lockdown.
The architectural intervention will allow people to communicate and to be heard. The space will have visual and sound continuity to represent the energy and power of the people, while the dialogue continues between the historical existing elements of the site and the layers created by the new architectural elements, materials and textures.
