The project targets freshly graduate students facing mental health issues in the difficult times that we are facing due to the pandemic and the even harder conditions Lebanon is going through. The project offers a transitional space between university and the professional life, favouring social interaction and including various activities based around communication.
The existing stairs of the street of Mar Mikhael are integrated to the project and blur the boundaries between exterior and interior. The piazza, facing the interior stairs, becomes a space of performance for everyone. The interior spaces communicate through platforms that link people and groups, but also provide semi translucent cubicles for those in need of privacy.
