Learning to read the space, through its fundamental and simplest components: the ground, the wall, the roof; exploring the notions of threshold, enclosure, frame and cover, noting down the ambiguities, glitches and imperfections that are usually found, inherent to these notions, in our built environment.
Students used various methods of representation for recording of their findings: freehand and hard line drawings, model form, photography, collage, diagrams….
The second part of the semester was dedicated to the design of a small community library.
