Farah al Noss / Mia Machaka / Tina Boustany
How to reconcile usages that require isolation like the reading of a book, or the mere fact of collecting one’s thought, with the necessity for information to be distributed and shared? In what way, protected and enclosed spaces can connect with, or open up to, their (often hostile) environment? What dynamic interplay can take place between the given built environment and the inner space(s) of the student’s own making?
