In light of the Covid pandemic, this project tackles the issue of linking the interior to the outdoor surrounding through visual connections, openings, levels and depth. The whole space is experienced through the use of voids and volumes which dictates the vertical and horizontal circulation. The manipulation of levels as well as spaces overlooking each other creates a program of connected functions. People moving within the boutique hotel are experiencing different moments through the architectural implementation of voids that extends to a skylight and horizontal openings that brings the outside inwards. The use of the skrim material creates different layers of framed views. The retail shop and the café are extended upwards to two different floors transforming the space into one entity. The extended metallic structure that defines the resto pub on two different floors, highlights the importance of the skylight bringing the inside to the outside.
