In light of the crisis, this project tackles the issue of healing people with PTSD and their gradual transition back into social life. The whole space is conceived in a way to separate the public areas of the healing center from the different private functions and provides an in-between zone as well. The circulation spaces are designed as a separation between the different levels of privacies and as safe environments for the patients to move through. In the private zone, different voids are implemented and link the interior to the exterior offering views to the sky. The bedrooms are planned as small studios with two levels where the patients benefit from a separation between sleeping and living areas. The combination of natural materials with soft pastel calming colors as well as integrating greenery contribute in the creation of a relaxing environment adequate for healing.
