Located in Beit Chabeb, Lebanon, the housing project stands as a medicinal herb farm providing herb and raw materials for medicinal purposes. As it aims to plant, collect, and produce the most possible, the building is gradually elevated above the ground creating an open sheltered gallery underneath it. The intention is to obtain an observational garden with which inhabitants will always have a connection in order to observe its evolution during different seasons and times. However, this connection is not only limited by its physical aspect, involving being in touch with the plants but also involves a visual connection with them. All housing typologies are made with minimal enclosed spaces, allowing for openings to keep this relation accessible. The project takes a simple rectangular form, with the two adjacent buildings present on site being rehabilitated and integrated into the project.
