In his Cloud Cities Installations, Tomas Saraceno defied traditional notions of space, time and gravity. His floating sculptures, community projects and installations propose new, sustainable ways of inhabiting and sensing the environment.
Mimicking the floating impressions in his atom-like cells, I see a deconstructed volumetric of shapes and planes fluctuating on various levels, interconnected and hanging by threads, conveying to the visitor the feeling of being airborne inside a glass shell. The folly is placed on the water maximizing this experience of feeling one with the overwhelming surrounding immensity of the sea and the Byblos coast scenery.
