miryam el atat

The alternating sensation of light and shadow as one goes through the streets familiarizes the porosity of the city. And lead by this play of light and shadow, it dictates the configuration of spaces to adapt to different programs and functions. Driven by this ideology, the mass takes form and emphasizes different moments of different experiences to visitors or residents. The moments are produced by manipulating this mass by the introduction of cracks that takes different functions as entrances, skylights or shelters.
