THE KEEPER’S HOUSE
myriam al atat
The keeper challenges the horizontal sequence of spaces favorable to human circulation by proposing a new sequence of spaces organized vertically, extending from the roof and going through the 2 floors toward the garden. The spaces will allow for physical as well as visual connections, operating as a servant system to the existing structure. Visitors will stay in a boutique hotel including 4 rooms only, each with a completely different character or atmosphere. In addition, the keeper will provide basic services for the visitors such as food and cleaning and his space will also allow the visitor to circulate in the property without intruding into each other.
