The Blast left a shaky core, both on an emotional and a physical level; it also left many homeless, in need of temporary shelters. This project is about reimagines this shaky core by re-constructing it in the form of volumes that unsteadily rest on top of each other. As an exhibition space for local artists and designers, it is discovered through the relationship between the skin, the volumes and the voids. During a shelter crisis, some of the volumes become housing units to shelter the refugees: to achieve that, art works are moved to the storage area, and a hidden emergency utilities area is revealed.
