THE MELTING ROOFS

I analyzed in the three precedents, that the roofs do not only act as the tradition last layer of a house that usually acts to limit it, but it is catering for more and manipulating the perimeters, by extending the inner spaces and connecting them to the atmosphere instead of disconnecting them. Creating voids that allow that allow a coexistence between users of this architecture and the nature. In the project this can be seen by fragmenting this roof in order to reach an extension of inner spaces, defining mass and void that eventually allows a connection with the surrounding nature and a coexistence. It is fragmented in a way in order not to disrupt the nature but rather preserve and coexist with it, Fragmenting the roof allows for this nature to go through the voids or grown on the spaces between the roofs, forming my spaces in between this nature. In the project I took this idea and developed it in a way that can be seen by fragmenting this roof in order to reach an extension of inner spaces, bringing together mass and void that eventually allows a connection with the surrounding nature and a coexistence. It is fragmented in a way in order not to disrupt the nature but rather preserve and coexist with it, Further allowing for this nature to go through the voids or grow on the spaces between the roofs, forming my spaces in between the atmosphere.
