The second year focuses on spatial and formal principles of architecture and the fundamentals of design.
Basic elements of architecture, scale, proportions, ergonomics, colour theories and anthropomorphic will be explored through applications to small scale projects and the study of relevant canonical works. Visual communication and representation of design intentions using manual skills and digital media will also be addressed as a main focus in studios.
