In this project, the large existing lime factory was treated as a historical site, applying minimal changes to the existing buildings, and creating a transparent envelop using metal and glass. The program is an artist hub for the creative minds, including residences, workshops, library, exhibition spaces, and community places. Those functions are distributed throughout the project, creating an interesting circulation through the building, especially across the stairs’ transparent envelop.
