The project is an art center in Mar Mikhael, Beirut. It merges several functions of different Lebanese art associations such as theater, workshops, a café, and exhibition spaces which engulf the whole building on all floors. By connecting and extending aspects of social phenomena in Mar Mikhael, the organism expands and looks to break away from the plot. The struggle of escaping the boundaries manifests through movements around the plot and their interlocking leads to the organism to reclaim massiveness. By pushing the circulation to the extremities, the core is liberated, and through a pattern of connection and disconnection between the extensions and the core, the light is filtered into the project from introverted openings.
