Eisenman explores the concept of disorientation in Guardiola House, which lead to the implied complexity when designing the music therapy center and school. People at the entrance can see their target but have to go through an experience of disoriented circulation before reaching it.

Domestic courtyards expand the sense of interiority into the public realm creating public urban spaces that can be understood as a network of indoor and outdoor spaces, that merge into a modulated continuum between interior and exterior. This concept was integrated into the creation of the unit. Kitagata housing (Sanaa) is a combination of single cells, where the room becomes the only basic building block; each unit proposes a multitude of circulation based on the behaviors and habits of the user. The unit became the base of creating a system that combined the analysis of the site in Achrafieh and the building by Sanaa.
